Joanna Lee Hoi-yin

Joanna Lee Hoi-yin’s undergraduate degree was in English literature and her postgraduate focus areas were global business and arts administration. Backed up by years of experience in the fields of advertising and marketing, she is currently an editor, critic, and producer. She contributes cultural and arts reviews to printed and online publications in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. She is also an advisor (Arts Criticism group) and an assessor (Arts Administration, Dance, and Arts Criticism group) for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC). She has received multiple grants from the HKADC for her overseas exchange trips in Australia, Italy, Germany and Canada. She is a host of the RTHK programme Arts Critique. She is co-curator of Body Typology (2015-2016), Hong Kong Dance Alliance’s Collaborative Lab (2017), and To Behold, To Voice, To Remap—Participatory Theatre Project (Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme grantee 2017-2019).

 

Lam Heyee

Lam Heyee was a journalist and editor for local newspaper and magazine supplements for many years. She worked as a research assistant for the Kwan Fong Cultural Research and Development Programme at Lingnan University, and the Academy of Film at Hong Kong Baptist University. Research projects she took part in included “Audience Development as a Cultural Policy” and “Documentaries in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia”. She is currently a freelance writer, and her arts and culture features as well as her feature interviews can be found in various newspapers and magazines. Her writings have appeared in Ming Pao, Hong Kong Economic Journal, FTChinese, art plus, dance journal/hk, the online magazine *CUP, and other venues. Her publications include qiceng zuyin—lizhengwu xizhiou koushu lishi (Footprints on Seven Storeys—An Oral History of the Lei Cheng Uk Resettlement Area) and Rebranding X Consumption Jungle by Tommy Li (Expanded Edition).
